Frequently Asked Questions
General
The International Competitive Dancer Registry (ICDR) is the world’s only secure online registry in which competitive dancers can track, showcase, and protect their verified experience, event participation, and achievements.
The ICDR was built to give dancers and their guardians control over their identity, their performances, and their history.
The ICDR will be soft launching in 2025 with a full launch in 2026.
Competitions
The sole requirement for validated competitions to become ICDR partners is to exclusively allow ICDR-registered dancers to perform on stage.
Studios
The ICDR allows studios to register their dancers into their competitive team and to document their accomplishments into a secure digital platform.
To become a registered ICDR studio, visit www.competitivedancer.com and sign up. Once your studio is validated by our team, you will be officially recognized as an ICDR-verified studio.
As a dance studio, there is no fee to become ICDR-registered.
Studios that register before August 31, 2025, will receive Founding Member status and the following benefits:
- Free dancer registration for the 2025 season
